About

The Electric Encounter project emerged in 2006 from dark ambient-electro beats and fragmentary sound structures. Initially, there were open soundscapes without a fixed form, beyond traditional song structures, which called for a voice. Without predetermined melodies, this voice becomes a narrative instrument, guiding the listener through soundscapes where atmosphere, texture and meaning take centre stage.

Metaphorically speaking, this means: pouring concrete floors, embracing creaking stairs, and working with equal care on programming and wordplay. The result is a dense interweaving of dark ambient-electro sound fragments, spoken word and sporadically inserted vocals.

ELECTRIC ENCOUNTER are Nathalie Gacond and Antonio «Tonong» Di Giuseppe.

A while ago it all started with a simple question: Would you? And we said yes. Yes to a lot of work, metaphorically speaking: to pour concrete floors, hug squeaky staircases, and – of course – work donnishly on programming and wordplay.

The result is a fine mixture of dark ambient electronic sound fragments, combined with poetical prosa oratio on which we are continuously working on.

ELECTRIC ENCOUNTER are: Nathalie Gacond and Antonio „Tonong“ Di Giuseppe.
